No other rock band has conquered the world and the charts like Queen. Starting in the early seventies, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon have written numerous hits and their music have reigned the airwaves from the UK and Europe to the USA and Australia. They were the first rock band to embark on a stadium tour of South America and have played to a sell-out crowd in Hungary while still under the Iron Curtain.

Queen have been acclaimed as pioneering arena rock, glam rock, hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock. They will always be remembered for their never-seen-before theatrics showmanship, camp, bombast and ground-breaking live shows. Freddie Mercury was a hugely charasmatic and flamboyant lead vocalist, bringing energy, excitement, enthusiasm and pure adrenaline to each performance. His vocal performances were so natural and genuine that audiences almost always joined in and sang along with him. Although he may no longer be with us, it will be a long time before his legacy and the music of Queen will be forgotten.
